The incident occurred at approximately 2:58 p.m.· March 1 -- Employees at the 9 & Co. shoe store at 34th and Walnut streets reported that a man and woman tried to use stolen credit cards at approximately 11:11 a.m. After store employees confiscated the stolen cards, the male suspect stole a pair of shoes valued at $79.Theft from Auto · February 24 --EA University employee reported that a briefcase, vinyl bag and clothes valued at $100 were stolen from a car parked at 33rd and Walnut streets between 12:10 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. There were no signs of entry in the incident, and police have made no arrests.Theft· March 2 -- A student reported that an unattended coat was stolen from Smokey Joe's restaurant at 40th and Walnut streets between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. The coat contained a PennCard, mailbox keys and 20 cents.· March 2 -- A person unaffiliated with the University reported that an unattended coat with keys in the pocket was stolen from the LeBus restaurant at 34th and Sansom streets between 6 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.· February 28 -- A student's unattended wallet was stolen from the Van Pelt Library between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The wallet contained a PennCard, credit cards and $10 in cash.Harassment· March 2 --EAn employee at the 9 & Co. shoe store at 34th and Walnut streets complained that a man entered the store and yelled foul language at her at approximately 6:05 p.m.· February 28 -- A student living at 43rd and Chestnut streets reported that at approximately 8 p.m. he was harassed by his roommate. The roommate, who is unaffiliated with the University, allegedly threatened to assault the student.All information obtained from University Police. Burglary· March 3 -- A University employee's house on the 3900 block of Baltimore Street was robbed of various electronic items at approximately 10:40 a.m. after an air conditioner was forced through one of its rear windows. A suspicious man was seen in the area, but he fled the scene after being spotted and dropped a bag containing the stolen items. The suspect was last seen running west on Spruce Street.Simple Assault· February 27 -- A man unaffiliated with the University reported that another man threw coffee in his face at approximately 9:46 p.m. The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University pf Pennsylvania for medical attention, and the man accused of throwing the coffee was taken to the Philadelphia Police Department Southwest Detectives Bureau for questioning.Domestic Disturbance· March 2 -- University Police are investigating a fight involving three students in an apartment on 36th and Chestnut streets at 10:45 p.m. Officers found the apartment in disarray, and the incident is under investigation.Retail Theft· March 3 -- University Police officers apprehended a man after he stole several items from the Wawa convenience store at 38th and Spruce streets.
