BurglaryBurglary· February 10 -- Students reported that their house on the 3900 block of Baltimore Avenue was broken into between 11:50 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The house's first floor rear window was broken and various items were stolen. An individual described as an approximately 20-year-old African American male was seen leaving the area shortly after the robbery, riding a silver bicycle taken from the house. Store at 34th and Sansom streets reported two jackets stolen at 11:24 a.m. The black rubber jackets were valued at $85 each.Theft· February 9 -- A student's unattended coat was taken from the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.· February 6 -- A student's wallet was stolen from a couch at Hillel between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The wallet contained $50 in cash, credit cards and personal identification.· February 6 -- A student's compact disc player valued at $150, as well as various CDs, were stolen from the third floor of the Van Pelt Library at approximately 2:40 p.m.· February 5 -- A student's unattended backpack was stolen from the fifth floor of the Van Pelt library between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The backpack contained books and computer disks.· February 5 -- A wallet containing cash and credit cards was taken from a student's carry-all bag at the Boston Market restaurant at 39th and Chestnut streets. The incident occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. while the student was eating.All information was obtained from University Police.Burglary· February 10 -- Students reported that their house on the 3900 block of Baltimore Avenue was broken into between 11:50 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The house's first floor rear window was broken and various items were stolen. An individual described as an approximately 20-year-old African American male was seen leaving the area shortly after the robbery, riding a silver bicycle taken from the house.Attempted Burglary· February 7 -- A man broke the window and pried apart the window bars of a student's house on the 3900 block of Pine Street at approximately 8 a.m. There was no entry into the house, and police made no arrests.Theft of Auto· February 7 -- A student's 1988 tan Nissan was stolen from 40th and Spruce streets between February 4 at noon and February 7 at 2 p.m.Theft from Auto· February 9 -- The front passenger window of a 1993 Oldsmobile parked at 37th and Sansom streets was broken between February 8 at 10:15 p.m. and February 9 at 6:45 a.m., and 30 cents was taken from the ashtray.Criminal Mischief -- Auto· February 8 -- The trunk lid of a 1992 Maxima parked at 32nd and South streets was damaged at approximately 10:30 p.m.Recovered Auto· February 9 -- University Police recovered a stolen 1994 Oldsmobile at 41st and Locust streets at 4 p.m.·February 9 -- University Police recovered a stolen 1989 Dodge at 41st and Pine streets at 4:36 p.m.Retail Theft· February 6 -- The 9 & Co.
