To the University community for not responding to the rash of crimes until after a student was shot. To the parents for unproductively yelling at University President Judith Rodin and city officials during a safety forum on parents weekend. Shame on you, mom and dad. To the Public Safety Department for using the narrowest possible definition of on-campus crime in reporting statistics to the state and federal governments. To Rodin for outlining a minority permanence plan that promises money will be the solution to increase minorities on campus. To the College of Arts and Sciences for not creating a joint-degree program with the Law school. Wharton and the School of Engineering and Applied Science do not need to be the only undergraduate schools that offer interdisciplinary programs in conjunction with graduate schools. To Executive Vice President John Fry and Vice President for Government, Community and Public Affairs Carol Scheman for not consulting the University community when choosing United Way to administer its annual fundraising drive. Unfortunately, this may lower total charitable donations. To the A-3 employees who did not participate in their representative body's elections and their leaders who have not announced the elctions results from two months ago.
