Theft of BikeTheft of BikeSeptember 3 -- University Police arrested a male for stealing a bike from a University student's apartment on the 4000 block of Spruce Street. Strong Arm Robbery September 3 -- A male approached a female University employee on the 300 block of South 38th Street at 6:30 a.m. and attempted to take her backpack. He punched the employee and took the bag. The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment. Criminal Mischief September 3 -- Feces was found at 4:30 p.m. in the third floor mens' bathroom of the Chestnut dorm in the Quadrangle. Armed Robbery September 4 -- Two males, one armed with a semi-automatic weapon, approached a male undergraduate and a female undergraduate as they entered an apartment on the 4000 block of Baltimore Street around 2:45 a.m. The suspects took the female's backpack and fled. Theft of Auto September 4 -- A 1984 Chrysler New Yorker was reported stolen at 1:42 a.m. from a University lot in the 3600 block of Walnut Street. September 4 -- A 1991 Mercury Cougar was reported stolen at 8 a.m. from a University parking lot. The theft occurred between 8 p.m. on September 3 and 8:50 a.m. the next day. -- Ben Hammer
