A VCR valued at $180, as well as three jackets valued at $315, were reported stolen. There was no evidence of forced entry. In the second incident, a student was robbed of $17 by a male who simulated the possession of a weapon at 36th and Chestnut streets. The incident took place at around 9:30 p.m. Simple Assault · February 9 -- A fire extinguisher was discharged into a student's room in the Ware College House in the Quadrangle. The student was treated and released at Student Health Services for chemical inhalation. Theft from Auto · February 12 -- Insurance papers, vehicle registration and tools were reported stolen from a Physical Plant truck parked in a lot at 36th and Walnut streets. The incident took place between Friday and Monday. · February 11 -- A 1990 Honda parked in a lot at 32nd and Spruce streets was broken into between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. A window was smashed in the incident, in which a purse and briefcase were stolen. Retail Theft · February 11 -- A suspect was seen leaving the Urban Outfitters store at 40th and Locust streets with a jacket valued at $45. A store employee chased the suspect and recovered the jacket. The incident took place at 5 p.m. Theft · February 11 -- A black mountain bike valued at $250 was stolen from a secured rack at the Towne Building at 34th and Locust streets.
