NEWS BRIEFS: Two bike thefts may be related, police speculate

University Police are speculating that two recent strong-arm bicycle robberies may be connected. And yesterday, two men whose description seemed to match Tuesday's suspects robbed a student of his Schwinn bike on the South Street Bridge at about 4:30 p.m. The student received minor injuries. In both incidents, the suspects fled west. -- Brett Levinson
