The information session will be held for the general public interested in learning more about the Abu-Jamal case. And social activist Clark Kissinger, former National Secretary of Students for a Democratic Society, will be the night's guest speaker. Kissinger will also discuss the reasons why this case has taken on a political significance. Abu-Jamal, who is slated to be executed on August 17, has garnered support from those who believe he was convicted on the basis of his radical political beliefs. The information session will begin at 5 p.m. at the Christian Association at 36th and Locust streets. -- Betty Yuan
