The Turnpikes also drafted Connecticut women's basketball star Rebecca Lobo, the key to the Huskies' recent national championship. Lobo was the third woman ever drafted by the USBL. · Penn assistant Gil Jackson, a finalist for the head coaching position at Delaware, was passed over for the job by the Blue Hens yesterday. Duke assistant Mike Brey was announced as Steve Steinwedel's successor at Delaware. Jackson, one of 103 applicants, is expected to return to the Quakers' bench next season.
