The final product of this semester's four-Saturday collaborative program can be found on Page 7. Entitled The Saturday Times, the page was written and produced by Shaw students with the assistance of DP staff members. During the course of this semester, the students from Shaw learned about writing and reporting, as well as design, photography and art. They also had the opportunity to interact with Philadelphia Inquirer Associate Editor Acel Moore and Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell. Last semester, the DP and Shaw teamed up to produce Class Act, an eight-page supplement that appeared in the DP. The Saturday Times will be distributed around the community.
