After several weeks of reading Bill Madison's exclusive "white bashing," it's time to hear another voice. Take a look around, Madison, all you seem to be able to see is a bunch of rich white people who, because of their color, must be racist and prejudiced against anyone of color -- conveniently ignoring the hundreds, even thousands, of white students working like hell to stay in this school because they too have given up a lot to be here. Racism is not exclusively directed at African-Americans -- it's there, but by no means is it the only racism on campus. Maybe sometime in the future you'll stop and listen to yourself as you question the morality of "white" women helping "black" children . . . the issue is not about color or the disparity between cultures, rather it's one of education and hope for children expressed by women who give a damn about the future.
