Steve always strove to assist and encourage, research and discover, right wrongs and improve the world around him. He ferociously stood up for his beliefs, and was forever conscious that the pen -- coupled with the thought behind it -- is the mightiest weapon of all. It is hard to believe, and perhaps impossible to accept, that Steve has died. Constantly reminded of Steve's extraordinary ambition and abilities, we cannot help but think of all he could have accomplished. We miss Steve deeply, mourn his loss and continue to remember the too-brief time we shared with him.
