Many students have not been behind the wheel of a car for a while and the excitement of a week free from classes can make drivers less careful than they would be otherwise. We know we sound like your mother, but please buckle up and drive carefully. And when you reach your destination remember that almost every city or resort has hazards of its own. Be aware of what goes on around you and remember that some people prey on college students. Put the street smarts that your time in West Philadelphia has taught you to good use. After enjoying Spring Break this year, we hope that all University students, faculty and staff members return to campus safe and sound. Whether you're taking Interstate 95 to Florida, winging it to "the islands" or overseas, helping out with a program like Alternate Spring Break, working elsewhere, or hanging out at home or on campus, we hope you have an enjoyable break from classes -- and continue to play it safe.
