I write in response to the article, "Fesitval continues after split with U." (DP 2/12/92). The Daily Pennsylvanian quoted me as saying, "Everyone we spoke to [at the University] was real excited about the festival, but when it came to actually working for us, they all said they didn't have the time or the money." This quotation is incorrect. Although the University chose not to act as the Festival's fiscal agent this year, many departments have made sizable donations to the Festival. In addition, other departments have graciously allowed us to use their Xerox machines and office space. Without the help of these departments, the Festival would not have been possible. I sincerely apologize to these departments for the DP's misinterpretation of my statements. ANN LOUISE ELLIOT Chair National Women's Theater Festival, Philadelphia
