After reading the article "Woman runs in streak" (DP 2/4/92), I was outraged. For an organization whose professed mission is "to eventually have everyone do it," the group failed to exhibit a willingness to include everyone by means of proper publicy -- at a university with 10,000 undergraduates, word-of-mouth is patently insufficient exposure. Furthermore, the group's cryptic blood oath at an undisclosed dinner location bears (bares?) testimony to the exclusive nature of their organization. Either the group should have taken measures to include those members of the University who are not on the track team, or they should not insult our intelligence with claims that they are interested in universal participation.
