A Quadrangle resident entered his locked room Friday afternoon to find a stranger clad in boxer shorts holding his VCR. The stranger told the resident his name was Jason and that he lived upstairs, and the resident let him go, although without the VCR. The Butcher Building resident filed a report with University Police, and the incident was classified as a burglary. The complainant has yet to file any charges. The burglar was described as a brown-haired male of medium build between 5'7" and 5'9", weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a pair of maroon and gold boxer shorts. Police do not know if anyone answering this description lives upstairs from the complainant. Friday's incident is the second reported break-in in a Quadrangle room in the past month. During break, a thief entered the Speakman Building, which is next to Butcher, and stole a telephone, stereo and surge protector. In the Speakman burglary, the thief entered the room by breaking the dorm window.
