Once again The Daily Pennsylvanian has shunned the call for originality to retain an editorial style reminiscent of stale Rice Krispies. I am, of course, referring to the DP's choice of columnists for the upcoming semester. Look, in a school of twenty some odd thousand people, why do we have to keep listening to the drivel of Elizabeth Hunt and the same bunch of columnists every semester? My roommate applied for your column and he didn't get it, and he's a good writer. Can't you guys at least get someone new to write about the meaningless thoughts which occupy your editorial page? It would beat reading the same warmed over columns that we get every week. MICHAEL BASS College '92
