One of the men had begun the pickpocketing attempt when a friend of the woman noticed him and screamed. The three men bolted immediately. One man ran into the Food Court at 3401 Walnut Street and was caught their by police, and the other two escaped police. The man had in his possession credit cards in three names not his own. He claimed he found the cards and intended to return them. None of the owners had noticed their absence. The man also gave the police false identification information and later admitted that he had been charged with robbery before. He was taken to the Philadelphia Police Administration Building for fingerprinting. In an unrelated incident, a burglar stole $2500 woth of photographic equipment from Stemmler Hall. Police received the report at 1:30 p.m. yesterday. The burglary allegedly occured Tuesday. -Adam Heilman
