BRIEF: Author Cheever to give reading today

Cheever, a former Newsweek editor, has written five fiction works and two non-fiction memoirs about her family. Her most recent work, Treetops, is about her family's estate. A question and answer period will follow the reading. Cheever's presentation is co-sponsored by the PEN at Penn program and the School of Arts and Sciences. -- Alissa Kaye
