The 24-hour marathon begins at 2 p.m. and will run continuously through the night until 2 p.m. Friday. President Sheldon Hackney and Assistant to the President Nicholas Constan are scheduled to ride the teeter-totter from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. this afternoon. All proceeds raised from sponsors and collected on Locust Walk will be donated to the Surgical Association Research Education Fund of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. -- Robert Botel
