Havis's story is set, as the title indicates, in Morocco, where a Jewish-American architect, Charles Kempler, attempts to free his Arab wife from jail. His wife was incarcerated on trumped up charges of prostitution. Seth Rozin, founder and artistic director of Interact, as well as a 1986 University graduate, said the show is particularly apropos for the Universiy community which has large Muslim and Jewish populations. Morocco will be perfromed for the next three weekends in the Studio Theatre. All evening shows are at 8 p.m. and Saturday matinees begin at 2 p.m. The shows will be followed by artist/audience discussions about the message of the play and its relevance in light of recent international developments in the Middle East. -- Elie Landau
