However, Clelland said negotiations are still taking place and no final agreement has been reached. He declined to comment further on the scope of the negotiations. Citing confidentiality restrictions, both sides have refused to reveal the grievance panel's recommendations in the case, the provost's ruling on the recommendations or Jeglum's response to the ruling. Jeglum was a veterinary cancer researcher at the University until she was denied tenure in 1989 and left her office this February.
