BRIEF: Debate teams have strong showing

The team of College sophomore Kiera Reilly and College freshman Brad Rosenberg competed against another University team, College senior Jim Voris and Wharton junior Howard Radzely, in the octofinals. Voris and Radzely won the match but lost in the next round. College freshman Chris Schulten and College junior Steve Weiser topped the other two teams by going to the semifinal round, but had to settle for a loss. In the individual speaker category, Voris placed sixth overall. -- Daniel Schwartz
