Winner: Penn Democrats

Hillary Clinton held a rally at Penn Park on Saturday, telling a crowd of over 7,000 people, “Friends don’t let friends vote for Trump.” She even gave The Daily Pennsylvanian a shoutout, thanking them for their joint endorsement with The Wellesley News. Penn Dems were lucky enough to get VIP seating at the event.

Loser: Apple users with iOS 10.12.1

Apple’s latest update for the Mac and iPhone came with an unexpected side effect for Penn students, making their devices unable to connect to AirPennNet. The university has yet to reach out to all students about the lack of internet access.

Winner: Lazy upperclassmen

Luckily for the 92.1 percent of upperclassmen who had not completed Thrive At Penn by the beginning of this semester, the policy requiring it in order to register for spring semester courses has been retracted. However, all students are still encouraged to complete TAP.

Loser: President Amy Gutmann

Penn President Amy Gutmann’s salary has been reduced from $3,426,106 to $3,333,878. If you’re feeling sympathetic, you can donate to Under The Button’s GoFundMe campaign to help make up the $92,228 difference.

Winner: Penn women’s soccer

Penn’s women’s soccer team remains unchallenged after a win against the Army Black Knights on Monday. This win continues the pattern of away game victories for Penn this season.
