In this episode, Wharton junior Mario Paez speaks on his experiences at Penn as a bisexual, first-generation, low-income Latino man over Five Guys. Mario, who grew up in a predominantly Latino community in south Texas, describes the challenges of adjusting to a completely different culture in college. Despite these challenges, Mario has found many communities at Penn that have allowed him to celebrate his cultural identity. Sharma speaks on how this summer’s surge of feminism has failed to be reflected in both academic and social settings at Penn.
