Rangita de Silva de Alwis, a professor in the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, will serve as special advisor to the new United Kingdom Parliamentary Committee on Gender Apartheid.

Park boasts a longtime background in fine dining and recipe development, having trained and worked at restaurants, including New York’s Momofuku Ko, Philadelphia’s Osteria, and Le Moulin Bregeon in France. 

During the three-day event, attendees participated in events that highlighted the school’s offerings. 

Around 20 Penn community members — including representatives from Penn’s Young Democratic Socialists of America, Students for the Preservation of Chinatown, and the Coalition to Save the University City Townhome — attended the conference and gave speeches about the legal action
