The sustainability report does not take into account Penn's fossil fuel assets that it holds through its endowment investment in many companies, experts say.

The campaign is titled 'Power of Penn Campaign: Advancing Knowledge for Good' and aims to raise $4.1 billion dollar in four years. 

Among the six Ivy League institutions that have released data on changes to financial aid, Penn's percentage increase is fourth, higher only than Cornell and Dartmouth.

Other peer universities will see similar price boosts to Penn for the next academic year, all within a three to four percent increase. 

Penn's Board of Trustees voted to increase undergraduate tuition by 3.8 percent for the upcoming academic year, with the total cost of attendance exceeding $70,000 for the first time.

In return for Penn Medicine's investment, Tmunity will conduct a minimum of $30 million of sponsored research at Penn.

Tuition will increase from $47,416 to $49,220, room and board from $15,066 to $15,616, and fees from $6,118 to $6,364, according to the resolution posed at Board of Trustee meeting today.

Penn documents show that Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Tiffany Trump, could have contributed combined donations of anywhere from $10,001 to $22,743 since 2010. 

Taking application fee waivers into consideration, Penn made approximately $1,817,730 from application fees during this past 2017 admissions cycle.

In addition to the logistical changes, the food hall will boast new offerings, including a cafe, a pizza station, and a Mongolian grill — named Ivy Leaf, Pi, and Locust Wok, respectively.

Sessa's appointment comes at a time where SRFS has come into the spotlight regarding some of the changing policies, and especially the degree of varying information students say the receive about the changes.

Two months ago, an outside consultant hired by SRFS completed an “extensive documentation” of its financial aid policies and practices to examine their consistency.
