Fall 2013 Undergraduate Assembly Elections

Trelstad kicks off Social Impact Week

On Monday night, students gathered to hear Acumen Fund’s Chief Investment Officer Brian Trelstad deliver the 2010 Joel and Lois Coleman Social Impact Lecture. The talk also kicked off PennSEM Social Impact Week.

Opening statements were presented Tuesday in Chester County for a malpractice suit in which the University of Pennsylvania Health System is named, among other hospitals and individuals, as an alleged contributor to the death of a cancer patient.

I’m about to end my term as the last Undergraduate Assembly Chairman EVER. Though I’ll still be on the UA next year, I thought it would be just fanciful for me to list my accomplishments.

Two students were cited for more than 20 violations of city health code, according to Philadelphia Health Department spokesman Jeff Moran, causing HUP visits to increase 10 percent.
