The Quakers traveled to Cornell to compete in the first part of the two-week Ivy League Championships, where they went 3-1. They will look to show their strengths on their homecourt at Hutchinson Gym next week, when round two of the Ivy Championship will take place.

In its first away match of the season, Penn edged out the Midshipmen, 4-3, to give the Quakers their 11th consecutive victory over Navy.

Penn's 81-69 win over Yale was the team’s highest point total since its Jan. 6 victory at Maryland-Baltimore County. The Quakers ended a three-game losing streak and improved to 4-5 in the Ivies.

The only member of the Penn community actively participating in the Winter Olympics, Dr. Gary Dorshimer is responsible for attending to any NHL-affiliated athletes at the Games.

Thursday night, the Penn Newman Catholic Center hosted “Plight in Haiti,” in which Father Patrick Samway and Tina Cerin, a junior at St. Joseph’s University, challenged Penn students to consider Haitian reconstruction in the long-term.
