Following a vote last month to add a sorority to campus, the Panhellenic Council extension committee voted May 3 to add the new sorority in 2011 rather than 2012. The sorority will be Penn’s eighth after Phi Sigma Sigma closes at the end of this academic year.

Ever since he left Penn, 2005 College graduate Noah Pink has been following his dreams and working as a filmmaker. In his newest film, Pink tracks the adventures of his characters in a pursuit to follow their own dreams and become American rap artists.

Penn presents ‘Monologues’

Penn students got personal at Wednesday’s premiere of 'The Penn Monologues'. Penn’s version of 'The Vagina Monologues,' were written and performed by members of the Penn community.


Lion dance team wins national championship

On Sunday, the Penn Lions team placed first at the annual Lion Dance competition held at Columbia University. The group learns and performs the lion dance, a traditional Chinese dance in which performers mimic the movements of a lion.

Penn Haven, a campus homeless advocacy group, hopes to open a house in which Penn students and 18- to 22-year-old “formerly homeless youth or youth that had been through the child welfare system” will live under the same roof, College senior and Penn Haven member Maggie Tishman said.
