Launched in February 2014, Barring Eyewear is a Philadelphia-based company founded by three students aspiring to create high-quality and affordable sunglasses. Following the first home football game of the season, the Penn community headed to Penn Park for Skimmerfest, a celebration put on by the Class Boards and SPEC. The festival featured free food from various vendors, laser tag, carnival games, as well as a live performance by rapper Shwayze.
