1997 College graduate Nat Graham — who formerly served as the associate head coach for Penn’s men’s basketball — was named an assistant coach at Drexel.

Announced by Drexel head coach Zach Spiker on Monday, Graham’s return to Philadelphia follows a one-year stint as the associate head coach at Cornell. He was with the Quakers from 2014 to 2025, marking his longest tenure with any program.

In his one season in Ithaca, N.Y., the Big Red finished sixth overall in the division with an 88.5-point-per-game average while leading the nation in assists and made three-pointers per game. Though the season ended in the semifinals of the Ivy League tournament, Graham played an integral part in crafting Cornell’s high-powered offense.

Graham’s time at Penn included a six-season stretch where the team consistently made it to Ivy Madness. He was promoted following the Quakers’ legendary 2017-18 season — when Penn secured both the Ivy regular season and tournament titles to punch a ticket to March Madness.

According to the press release, Graham “helped the Quakers reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 11 years and win an Ivy League Tournament championship.”

He previously served as an assistant coach at Boston College, Cornell, the University of Toronto, and the University of Western Ontario.

Graham now joins a rebuilding Dragons program coming off a mediocre 2025-26 season. Before conference play, Drexel finished sixth during the 2025 Big Five Classic after posting losses to Penn, Saint Joseph’s, and La Salle. The Dragons ended the season just over 0.500 with a 17-16 record and a 10-8 conference record.
