After a public demonstration on College Green on Friday afternoon in response to the New York Police Department’s undercover surveillance, the Muslim Students Association is now planning a “Know Your Rights” event to educate students on their rights when dealing with law enforcement.

Wharton MBA students proved they have just as much musical talent as business skills this weekend. Wharton Follies, founded in 1976, is Wharton’s MBA comedy and music performance troupe and one of the largest and oldest performing arts groups of its kind.

At a town hall meeting on college affordability, the leaders — which included names like Philadelphia Mayor and 1979 Wharton graduate Michael Nutter and former Pennsylvania Gov. and 1965 College graduate Ed Rendell — ran through different ideas to help keep college costs down at Penn and across the nation.

From noon to 1 p.m., students will stand in front of the Benjamin Franklin statue holing up manila folders that read “My NYPD File,” according to College junior Mak Hussain, president of Penn’s MSA.





Current undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences, graduates and LPS students will be able to switch their University email account from Penn Live to Google@SAS during the summer if no problems arise. VIDEO: Word on the Walk

Vogel was invited to Penn as part of the Platt House Theatre Fellows program, a recent initiative established by an anonymous donor. Fellows visit the school for two days and speak to a class, hold a public talk and attend a private brunch with select students and faculty members.
