Win or lose, they cheer just as hard
The Penn Cheerleading team, coached by Joe Neary, has made a nice home for itself on the track behind the Penn bench at Franklin Field. And as the team continues to grow in size and scope, there's a good chance that its appearances might not be limited solely to Penn sporting events.

Michaela Tolpin | Cheating the student body
One-fifth of Wharton's sophomore class could be in serious trouble. For those of you who, like me, are not lucky enough to inhabit the hallowed halls of Huntsman or Steinberg-Dietrich, OPIM 101 (short for Operations and Information Management) is a required first-year introductory course for all Wharton students.

After the men's soccer team's season-opening 6-2 loss to Seton Hall, coach Rudy Fuller told his team that that if they worked on their defense, everything else would fall into place. Jim Saksa | Not worth the risk
This summer, a gay nurse at HUP asked me to go on a date with him. And I said yes. But we weren't interested in getting down and dirty (I'm straight, and he has standards.) Together, my friend and I ventured into the heart of the Gayborhood to the Washington West Project, an LGBT health clinic associated with the Mazzoni Center.
SG Belcore commits to Penn hoops
Though senior guard Brian Grandieri won't be around past the 2008-09 season, the Penn basketball team might have found the right guy to fill his shoes. Rob Belcore, a 6-foot-5 guard from Loyola Academy in Chicago, has become the second high school senior known to commit to Penn, joining 6-1 point guard Zack Rosen of St.
