The Gamma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. held their annual “Penn Gent” competition.The event highlighted the contribution of Penn’s premier black men to the Penn and Philadelphia communities. Nine Quakers identified as campus leaders competed to see who best embodies the qualities of a Penn Gent: Intelligence, Refinement, and Culture. The hosts were College Senior Aleisha Forde & College Junior Azani Pinkney. The judges were Penn alum Phylicia McCalla, College Senior Justyn Williams, & Coach Jerome Allen. Ernest Owens was crowned the winner of Penn Gent 2012.
