Beer can now be delivered with food in Pa.

Penn students over the age of 21 can now rejoice: Beer can be delivered alongside food in Pa. based on a recent Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board clarification.

The ruling from the LCB says that restaurants and other places that serve both food and beer can deliver up to two six-packs of beer. Deliveries involving beer, however, must be made over the phone via credit card.

Here's exactly how it works on the business end of things via Philly.com.

"Here's how it works: A business that sells malt-brewed beverages can apply for a "transporter-for-hire" license, which costs about $1,000, depending on the type of establishment. Anyone with that license can transport up to 192 ounces - or just over two six-packs - of beer."

So there you have it. Beer delivered with pizza. For more on the new development, read here.
