Theft

Sep. 8 — A male, 58, unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspect removed property from his secured locker at Hutchinson Gymnasium at about 7:45 p.m.

Sep. 8 — A female student, 19, reported than an unknown suspect removed her unattended cell phone from Steinberg-Dietrich Hall at about 4:15 p.m.

Sep. 8 — A male student, 20, reported that an unknown suspect removed his bicycle that was secured by a cable lock at Rodin College House at about 4:15 p.m.

Sep. 8 — A male, 33, unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspect removed his bicycle that was secured by a cable lock at about 2:15 p.m. at Saint Mary’s Church, located at 3916 Locust Walk.

Sep. 8 — A female student, 26, reported that an unknown suspect removed a wallet from her unattended backpack in the Chemistry Building at about 1:00 p.m.

Sep. 8 — An unknown suspect was reported to have removed merchandise without rendering payment from Ann Taylor, located at 133 S. 36th St., at about 10 a.m.

Sep. 7 — A female student, 19, reported that an unknown suspect took her secured bicycle on the 100 block of S. 39th St. at about 5:45 p.m.

Sep. 7 — A female employee, 56, reported her unattended laptop was removed from the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine at about 12:45 a.m.

Sep. 6 — A female student, 25, reported that an unknown suspect took her secured vehicle on the 3900 block of Walnut Street at about 8:15 p.m.

Sep. 3 — A male student, 19, reported that his bicycle, secured to a parking meter, was removed by an unknown suspect by lifting over the top of the meter on the 3300 block of Walnut Street at about 1:00 p.m.

Sep. 3 — A male, 23, unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspected entered his secured vehicle and removed property left in plain view on the 3400 block of Spruce Street at about 1:30 a.m.

Sep. 2 — Leonard Smith, 40, unaffiliated with the University and of the 5900 block of Christian Street, was arrested for allegedly taking merchandise without rendering payment at about 11:45 p.m. at 7-Eleven, located at 4201 Walnut St.

Sep. 2 — A female, 25, unaffiliated with the University, reported that two unknown suspects took her purse from her person and fled in an unknown direction on the 300 block of S. 38th Street at about 11:30 a.m.

Sep. 2 — Property was reported removed from Houston Hall at about 2:15 a.m.

Assault

Sep. 4 — A man, 55, unaffiliated with the University, reported he was assaulted by an unknown suspect on the 3900 block of Ludlow at about 7:00 p.m.

Sep. 3 — A woman, 21, unaffiliated with the University, reported that she was assaulted by a known suspect on the 100 block of S. 39th Street at about 2:45 a.m.

Robbery

Sep. 4 — A female, 15, unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspect took her phone on the 3900 block of Chestnut Street at about 4:00 p.m.

Trespassing

Sep. 8 — Theodore Cheek, 22, unaffiliated with the University and of the 4100 block of Timber Lane, was arrested for allegedly entering Hutchinson Gym without permission at about 7:45 p.m.

Sep. 7 — Charles Hairston, 25, unaffiliated with the University and of the 200 block of W. Mount Pleasant Avenue, was arrested for allegedly entering the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania without permission at about 11:30 p.m.
