Harris Heyer elected Interfraternity Council president

Wharton junior Harris Heyer, a former Daily Pennsylvanian advertising representative, was elected as next year’s president of the Interfraternity Council. He will replace Wharton senior Christian Lunoe, whose term as president will extend until the IFC’s bid signing ceremony next semester.

The IFC’s elections Wednesday night also filled its eight other executive board positions.

“The incoming board is poised to take the torch and move forward with high expectations,” Lunoe said. “I have no reservations that they will be very successful in catalyzing IFC’s role in campus life.”

Heyer, currently the Interfraternity Council Judicial Inquiry Board chairman, is scheduled to sit down with the DP to discuss his election and his plans for next year Thursday night.
