Oct. 6 — A man unaffiliated with the University reported at about 4:30 a.m. that two unknown suspects approached him and forcibly took his bicycle on the 3600 block of Market Street.
Theft
Oct. 21 — A female student, 23, reported at about 5:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed her unattended laptop from Stemmler Hall, at 3450 Hamilton Walk.
Oct. 20 — A female student, 19, reported at about 5:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect took her unattended wallet from David Rittenhouse Laboratory.
Oct. 20 — At 4 p.m., a computer was reported to have been taken from a building on the 3700 block of Market Street.
Oct. 20 — Lynell Moore, 49, unaffiliated with the University and of the 2600 block of Southhampton Road, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. for allegedly removing merchandise from CVS, at 3925 Walnut St., without rendering payment.
Oct. 19 — A female student, 19, reported at about 6:45 p.m. that someone removed her unattended cell phone from Hill Field.
Oct. 19 — A man unaffiliated with the University, 46, reported at about 2:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed her unattended wallet from Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, at 51 N. 39th St.
Oct. 19 — At 11 p.m., multiple secured vehicles were entered at Garage 51, at 3499 Civic Center Boulevard. Various items left in plain view were reported taken.
Oct. 19 — Armen Terzian, 35, unaffiliated with the University and of the 4300 block of Locust Street, was arrested at about 12:15 a.m. for allegedly removing merchandise without rendering payment at Fresh Grocer, at 4001 Walnut St.
Oct. 18 — A male University employee, 30, reported at about 3:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed his unsecured bicycle from outside of Pottruck Gym.
Oct. 18 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 30, reported at about 3:45 p.m. that someone removed her unattended laptop from the Wistar Institute, at 3601 Spruce St.
Oct. 18 — An unknown suspect was reported at about 2:30 p.m. to have taken a laptop and accessories from the Schattner Building, at 240 S. 40th St.
Oct. 17 — At about 10 p.m., a known suspect was reported to have removed unattended items of two students from the 3900 block of Spruce Street during a party.
Oct. 17 — A man unaffiliated with the University, 21, reported at about 3:30 p.m. that someone removed the seat from her bicycle on the 3400 block of Spruce Street.
Oct. 17 — A woman unaffiliated with University, 30, reported at about 12:30 a.m. that an unknown suspect removed her unattended wallet from the Penn Rehabilitation Center, at 3609 Chestnut St.
Oct. 17 — Shameeka Mu-Min, 19, unaffiliated with the University and of the 5700 block of Ceder Avenue, was arrested at about 2:15 a.m. for allegedly taking two female students’ personal items while at a party on the 4000 block of Spruce Street.
Oct. 15 — A male student, 27, reported at about 7:30 p.m. that someone removed his laptop from his unattended bag in Huntsman Hall.
Oct. 16 — A man reported at about 3:45 p.m. that his bicycle, secured with a cable lock, was taken by an unknown suspect on the 3800 block of Chestnut Street.
Oct. 16 — A male student, 39, reported at about 8:30 p.m. that someone removed his laptop from his unattended bag at Van Pelt Library.
Oct. 16 — Andre Rogers, 21, unaffiliated with the University and of the 1400 block of S. Etting Street, was arrested at about 8:15 p.m. for removing items from American Apparel, at 3661 Walnut St., without paying.
Oct. 16 — A female student, 20, reported at about 4:15 p.m. that an unknown suspect took her unattended iPod from Van Pelt Library.
Oct. 15 — A female student, 22, reported at about 3 p.m. that someone took her unattended wallet at Van Pelt Library.
Oct. 15 — At about 12 p.m., an unknown suspect was reported to have left Pizza Rustica, at 3602 Chestnut St, without paying for items.
Oct. 15 — At about 7:30 a.m., an unknown suspect was reported to have removed an unattended package on the 4000 block of Chestnut Street.
Fraud
Oct. 18 — While on the 3600 block of Market Street, a woman unaffiliated with the University, 61, reported at about 10:45 a.m. that an unknown suspect made fraudulent transactions on her bank account.
Oct. 18 — While at Sansom Place East, a male student, 21, reported at about 10:30 a.m. that an unknown suspect made fraudulent transactions on his credit cards.
