Assault
May 1 - Irving Jefferson, 46, unaffiliated with the University and of the 800 block of Ardmore Avenue in Ardmore, Pa., was arrested at about 1:45 a.m. for allegedly assaulting a police officer on the 3700 block of Walnut Street.
Burglary
May 4 - A male student, 29, reported at 5:45 p.m. that someone forcibly entered his apartment, located on the 4200 block of Osage Street, and removed personal items.
May 5 - A man unaffiliated with the University reported at about 12:35 a.m. that an unknown suspect entered his residence, located on the 4200 block of Osage Street, and removed personal property.
May 5 - A male student, 26, reported at about 1:30 a.m. that an unknown suspect entered his residence, located on the 4200 block of Osage Street, and removed personal property.
Theft
May 1 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 25, reported at about 11:30 a.m. that her GPS device, left in plain view, was taken from her secured vehicle outside the International House.
May 1 - A woman unaffiliated with the University reported at about 1:15 p.m. that her unattended pocketbook was taken by an unknown suspect at the White Dog Cafe, located at 3420 Sansom St.
May 1 - Sierra Pearl, 24, unaffiliated with the University and of the 13100 block of 56th Street, was arrested at about 1:15 p.m. for allegedly attempting to leave Urban Outfitters, located at 110 S. 36th St., without paying.
May 1 - A female student, 20, reported at about 2:45 p.m. that her bicycle, secured with a cable lock, was removed from outside Rodin College House.
May 1 - A known offender was reported at about 3:15 p.m. to have removed food items from the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

May 2 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 27, reported at about 9:30 a.m. that her satellite radio equipment, left in plain view, was taken from her secured vehicle on the 100 block of South 37th Street.
May 2 - A man unaffiliated with the University, 56, reported at about 1:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect took his unattended cell phone at the Marathon Embroidery Company, located at 3600 Chestnut St.
May 2 - A man unaffiliated with the University, 26, reported at about 8:15 p.m. that his unattended bag was taken by an unknown suspect at Marathon Grill, located at 200 S. 40th St.
May 4 - A female student, 20, reported at about 5:30 p.m. that her wallet was taken from her unattended shoulder bag at Starbucks, located at 3401 Walnut St.
May 4 - A female student, 23, reported at about 6:30 p.m. that her laptop was removed from a study area in Meyerson Hall.
May 4 - A female student, 19, reported at about 6:30 p.m. that her unattended laptop was removed from a study area in Huntsman Hall.
May 4 - A male student, 26, reported at about 6:45 p.m. that his unattended laptop was removed from a study area in the Furness Building.
May 5 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 56, reported at 1:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect attempted to remove her wallet from her pocketbook at CVS, located at 3401 Walnut St.
May 5 - A female employee, 35, reported at about 2:45 p.m. that her handbag, hanging from the back of her chair, was removed by an unknown suspect at Cosi, located at 140 S. 36th St.
May 5 - A woman unaffiliated with the University reported at about 4:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed her unattended purse left in an unsecured area within Naked Chocolate, located at 3421 Walnut St.
May 5 - A man unaffiliated with the University, 63, reported at about 6 p.m. that an unattended cell phone was removed from an office within the Restaurant School, located at 4207 Walnut St.
May 5 - A female student, 22, reported at about 11:45 p.m. that her personal items, left in plain view, were taken by an unknown suspect from her secured vehicle on the 4000 block of Pine Street.
May 6 - A female student, 22, reported at about 9 a.m. that her bicycle, secured with a cable lock, was removed from the 4200 block of Walnut Street.
May 6 - A female employee, 30, reported at about 12:30 p.m. that her secured bicycle was taken by an unknown suspect at the Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology, located at 3260 South St.
Fraud
May 5 - A female student, 21, reported to Penn Police at about 12:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect made fraudulent charges to his credit cards on the 4000 block of Sansom Street.
