Former Holy Family women's basketball coach Mike McLaughlin will take over the program at Penn, a source close to the situation confirmed.
With a a record of 381-55 at the Division II school located in Northeast Philadelphia, McLaughlin's .874 winning percentage is the highest at any level of NCAA basketball, including both men's and women's teams.
Coaching at his alma mater for the last 13 years, McLaughlin has won 13 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference titles, most recently the 2007-08 crown.
