Outgoing Penn seniors Jesse Carlin and Mike Hall of the track and field teams were honored Monday as Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
They are two of the Ivy League's 15 honorees this spring, bringing the school year's total to 81. That number breaks the conference's record for CoSIDA honorees, set in 2005-06, by two.
Hall and Carlin are now eligible to be named Acadenic All-Americans. Those teams will be announced in two weeks.
