A 41-year-old woman not affiliated with the University was robbed Sunday near the intersection of 39th and Market streets, Philadelphia Police officials said yesterday.
A male suspect approached the victim at about 10:30 p.m. and took her iPod before fleeing northbound on 39th Street.
There was no weapon involved, and the victim was not injured in the incident.
Police described the suspect as a black male between the ages of 18 and 20, approximately 5-foot-5 and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black vest and blue jeans.
