Burglary
Oct. 13 - An unaffiliated male reported that an unknown suspect had pried open the door to his apartment on the 4200 block of Walnut St. and removed personal times at around 10:12 a.m.
Theft
Oct. 18 - Elton Lewis, 48, of the 5800 block of Stockton Road, was arrested by Penn Police at around 10:40 a.m. for allegedly cutting a cable lock and removing a female student's bicycle from a rack outside of Huntsman Hall, located at 3730 Walnut St.
Oct. 18 - A female employee reported that an unknown suspect walked up behind her on the 4100 block of Pine Street, grabbed her handbag, and fled at 1:20 p.m.
Oct. 18 - Unknown suspects left Urban Outfitters, located on the 100 block of S. 36th St., at around 2:15 p.m without paying for merchandise.
Oct. 17 - A female student reported her unattended cell phone was removed from an unsecured room at Sansom East, located on the 3600 block of Sansom St., at about 10:50 a.m.
Oct. 17 - A female student reported that her unattended wallet was taken from Van Pelt Library, located on the 3400 block of Walnut St., at about 1:00 p.m.
Oct. 17 - An unknown suspect removed a male employee's laptop, fastened with a security bar, from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, located at 3400 Spruce St., at about 2:20 p.m.
Oct. 17 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect broke into his vehicle parked in Penn Tower Parking, located at 399 S. 34th St., and removed his GPS device and laptop at about 4:30 p.m.
Oct. 17 - An unknown suspect stole a female employee's unattended handbag from the Starbucks, located at 3401 Walnut St., at about 8:20 pm.
Oct. 17 - A female employee reported that her wallet was taken from her handbag while it was left unattended at in Williams Hall, located at 255 S. 36th St., at about 9:00 p.m.
Oct. 17 - Jerome St. Claire Davis, 57, of the 3500 block of Fairmont Avenue, was arrested by Penn Police in Stemmler Hall, located at 3450 Hamilton Walk, at about 11:00 p.m. for being in possession of items that a female student had reported stolen.
Oct. 16 - A male employee reported that his unattended wallet was stolen from Stellar Chance Labs, located at 422 Currie Blvd., at around 9:15 a.m.
Oct. 16 - An unknown suspect allegedly removed merchandise from Douglas Parfumerie, located at 3603 Walnut Street, at about 10:40 a.m.
Oct. 16 - An unaffiliated male reported that his wallet was taken from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, located at 3400 Spruce St., at about 11:20 a.m.
Oct. 16 - A female employee reported that an unknown suspect took her purse from her unattended backpack in the hallway of the Veterinary Hospital, located at 3850 Spruce Street, at about 11:40 a.m.
Oct. 16 - An unknown suspect removed a male student's bicycle, which was secured with a chain, from outside Franklin Field, located at 233 S. 33rd St., at about 12:30 p.m.
Oct. 16 - A female employee reported that her laptop and other items were stolen from her unsecured office in the Schattner Building, located at 240 40th St., at about 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 16 - A male student reported that his laptop was removed from an unsecured room at Gregory College House, located at 3909 Spruce St., at about 9:00 p.m.
Oct. 15 - An unknown suspect removed a male student's bike from the 4000 block of Chestnut St. at about 11:40 a.m.
Oct. 15 - An unknown suspect allegedly removed merchandise without paying from Seven Eleven, located on the 100 block of 38th St., at around 1:20 p.m.
Oct. 15 - A male employee reported that his laptop was removed from an unsecured office at the New Chemistry Building, located at 231 S. 34th St., at about 2:30 p.m.
Oct. 15 - A male student reported that his unattended laptop was removed from the study area at Hunstman Hall, located at 3730 Walnut St., at about 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 15 - A unknown suspect removed a male student's secured bike from outside of Hunstman Hall, located at 3730 Walnut St., at about 8:40 p.m.
Oct. 15- An unknown suspect allegedly removed merchandise from Douglas Parfumerie, located at 3603 Walnut St., without paying at about 1:10 p.m.
Oct. 14- A female employee reported that an unknown suspect removed her wallet from her coat while she was at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, located at 3400 Spruce St., at about 5:30 p.m.
Other Offense
Oct. 16- Will Williams, 29, of the 6200 block of Addison St., was cited by Penn Police on the 3800 block of Chestnut St. for urinating in public at about 1:30 a.m.
Narcotics
Oct. 16 - Shankia Brookins, 18, of the 1100 block of State St., was arrested by Penn Police at about 1:20 p.m. on the 3900 block of Market St. for having possession of several baggies of a green leafy substance thought to be marijuana and several baggies of a white chunky substance thought to be another unspecified drug.
Oct. 16 - Earlman Spearman, 20, and Thomas Moore, 18, both of the 3300 block of Hartville St., were arrested on the 3900 block of Walnut St. for being in possession of several baggies containing a green leafy substance thought to be marijuana at around 10:45 p.m.
