Theft Sept. 13 - A male student reported that an unknown suspect removed items from his unsecured room at Rodin College House, located at 3901 Locust Walk, at about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 13 - A female employee reported that she placed her pocket book unsecured on a bench on the 300 block of 40th Street at about 2:05 a.m., and when she went to retrieve it, it had been taken by an unknown suspect. Sept. 13 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that his bicycle, secured with a cable lock, was taken by an unknown suspect on the 3100 block of Chestnut Street at about 9:00 p.m. Sept. 12 - A male employee reported that an unknown suspect broke into his automobile on the 3100 block of Chestnut Street at about 5:00 a.m. and removed the stereo. Sept. 12 - A female employee reported that an unknown person broke into her secured automobile in the Penn Tower Parking Lot, located at 399 S. 34th St, at about 7:25 a.m. and removed electronic items. Sept. 11 - A female employee reported that an unknown suspect removed a laptop from a secured office at Williams Hall, at 255 S. 36 St., at about 4:10 a.m. Sept. 11 - A female student reported that an unknown suspect removed her laptop from her unsecured room at the 4000 block of Spruce Street at about 6:15 p.m. Sept. 11 - A male student reported that an unknown suspect removed currency from his unsecured room on the 300 block of 42nd St. at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10 - A female employee reported that an unknown suspect removed electronics and a laptop from a secured room at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, located at 3400 Spruce St., at about 2:00 p.m. Sept. 10 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect broke into his secured vehicle, located in Garage 37 at 34th and Chestnut streets, at about 2:00 p.m., and removed the GPS device. Sept. 10 - A female complainant reported that an unknown suspect removed credit cards from her unattended purse on the 100 block of 36th Street at about 12:00 p.m. Sept. 9 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect removed items from his unsecured vehicle, located on the 4000 block of Spruce St., at about 3:45 a.m. Sept. 8 - A female student reported that her wallet was taken from her unsecured bag at Cavanaugh's, located at 119 S. 39th St., at about 1:45 p.m. All information was provided by the Division of Public Safety.
