A change in dean is often accompanied by further changes in a school's faculty and administrators.

What follows is a list of who is leaving Wharton along with former dean Patrick Harker, who will assume the presidency at the University of Delaware:

- Former Undergraduate Dean Barbara Kahn was appointed the Dean of the University of Miami Business School.

- Deputy Dean David Schmittlein will assume the position of dean at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

- Monica Taylor, executive director of external affairs and the Wharton Fund, will follow Harker to Delaware. She will assume the role of vice president of development and alumni relations.

- Wharton Chief of Staff and Director of Faculty Administration Patricia Plummer Wilson will also be following Harker to Delaware as the chief of staff.

- Wharton Vice Dean of Executive Education Jon Spector has left to become President and CEO of the Conference Board.

n Anne Sullivan, former senior associate dean for finance and administration, will become the chief financial officer for Columbia University.

- Finance professor Andrew Metrick will join the Yale University School of Management in January.

To balance the loss of some administrators, Wharton Dean Thomas Robertson has also made some new appointments, many internal:

- Michael Gibbons, professor of Investment Banking and Finance, was named deputy dean.

- Peter Degnan, former executive director of executive education, was appointed vice dean of executive education yesterday.

- Thomas Colligan, former managing director of Duke Corporate Education, will lead finance and administration, also announced yesterday.

- Former chairwoman of the Real Estate Department Georgette Chapman Phillips was named vice dean and director of the undergraduate division.

Correction: This article mistakenly reversed the order of the new positions of Thomas Colligan and Peter Degnan. In fact, Peter Degnan will lead finance and administration, while Thomas Colligan has been appointed vice dean of executive education.
