Assault
June 7 - John Cameron, 43, of the 1700 block of Yewdall Street, was arrested for allegedly striking a complainant inside a vehicle at around 9:20 p.m. The complainant was not affiliated with the University.
Auto Theft
June 5 - Forday Komara, 31, of Upper Darby, was arrested for allegedly taking a vehicle from Penn Tower Parking at around 11: 20 p.m. The complainant was a 59 year-old man not affiliated with the University.
Burglary
June 3 - Joseph Stonestreet, 45, of Bryn Mawr, was arrested for allegedly attempting to remove several laptops from an office at the Inn at Penn, located on the 3600 block of Walnut Street, at around 10:50 a.m.
Fraud
June 7 - Marvin Boyd, 46, of the 1300 block of East Price Street, was arrested for allegedly attempting to cash a bad check at the Commerce Bank located on the 3600 block of Walnut Street, at around 1:30 p.m.
Robbery
June 4 - At around 3:30 p.m., on the 4200 block of Spruce Street, a man not affiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect approached him and placed an unknown object at his side, forcing him to turn over his wallet.
June 5 - At around 12:30 a.m., a man unaffiliated with Penn reported that he was robbed at gun point and had several items taken from him from unknown suspects.
Theft
June 4 - A 26-year-old female student reported at around 1:10 p.m. that her bike, secured with a lock, was removed from the 4000 block of Chestnut Street by an unknown suspect.
June 5 - At around 11:15 a.m., a 22-year-old female employee reported that an unknown person removed her credit card from an unattended bag left at the Stellar-Chance Lab, located at 422 Curie Blvd. The suspect allegedly made several charges with the card.
June 5 - A University employee reported at around 1 p.m. that a box containing several hard drives was removed from an office at the College of General Studies.
June 6 - A 36-year-old student reported at around 8 p.m. that an unknown person broke into that student's vehicle and removed several person items. The vehicle was parked at the parking lot located at 4008 Walnut St.
June 7 - Two suspects - Ebony Barfield, 18, of the 5100 block of Aspont Street, and Ina Johnson, 21, of the 1300 block of South Hampton Street - were arrested for allegedly shoplifting merchandise from Douglas Perfumery on the 3600 block of Walnut Street at around 6 p.m.
