Burglary

May 5 - A female student, 18, reported that she left her room in Hill College House unsecured and returned to find her laptop, value unknown, stolen by an unknown suspect.

Theft

May 5 - An unknown suspect was observed by security cameras inside RadioShack removing merchandise without payment at about 1:25 p.m.

May 5 - A female complainant, 62 and unaffiliated with the University, reported that she left her backpack unattended under a desk at Franklin Field and returned to find it had been removed.

May 5 - A female complainant, 57 and unaffiliated with the University, reported that she left her cell phone in a room at the University City Sheraton, located at 3549 Chestnut St., and returned to find it stolen.

May 3 - A male complainant, 18 and unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspect damaged his vehicle's front-side door and removed the car stereo, value unknown.

May 3 - A female complainant, 30 and unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspect broke into her parked vehicle in the parking lot located at 40th and Walnut streets and removed her GPS system.

May 3 - A female complainant, 25 and unaffiliated with the University, reported than an unknown suspect took her jacket on the 100 block of 33rd Street at about 5:45 p.m.

May 3 - A female student, 25, reported that she left several items in a room inside Meyerson Hall, located at 210 S. 34th St., and returned to find the items, value unknown, taken by an unknown suspect.

May 2 - Irv Philips, 39, of the 3800 block of Aspen Street, was arrested after he was observed allegedly leaving the Penn Bookstore, located at 36th and Walnut streets, with unpaid merchandise at about 3:20 p.m.

May 1 - A female employee, 54, reported than an unknown suspect removed items from her office inside Student Health Services, located at 399 33rd St.

Apr. 28 - A male complainant, 30 and unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown person removed items from his bag from an unsecured locker inside Hutchinson Gym, located at 34th and Locust streets.

Assault

Apr. 27 - Al Watkins, 32, of the 8100 block of Veree Rd., was arrested after he refused to pay a parking attendant at Lot 45, located at 3125 Walnut St., and struck the attendant in the arm with his car.
