Theft
Mar. 8 - A male complainant, 35 and unaffiliated with the University, reported that, upon returning to his parked vehicle at Penn Tower Parking, located at 399 S. 34th St., at about noon, the driver's side door had been pried open and the GPS system, value undetermined, had been removed.
Mar. 6 - A female complainant unaffiliated with the University reported that, upon returning to her parked vehicle in Penn Tower Parking at about noon, the rear window had been broken and a bag with clothing, value undetermined, had been removed.
Mar. 6 - A male student, 18, reported that several personal items, valued at about $700, were taken from his room in Ware College House.
Mar. 2 - A female student, 22, reported that her unattended laptop, valued at about $2,500, was stolen from Van Pelt Library at about 6:15 p.m.
Mar. 1 - A male University employee, 28, reported that a GPS device, valued at about $500, was removed from his unsecured vehicle at Penn Tower Parking at about 1:15 p.m.
Feb. 28 - A male University employee, 20, reported that his wallet and cell phone were removed from his jacket in the Pottruck Center at about 12:15 a.m.
Feb. 27 - A female University employee, 42, reported that, upon returning to her vehicle in a parking garage at 34th and Chestnut streets at about 4:20 p.m., the driver's side window was broken and the stereo/CD player, value undetermined, was removed.
Feb. 27 - A male student, 22, reported that his unattended laptop was stolen from Van Pelt Library at about 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 24 - A female complainant unaffiliated with the University reported that her purse was removed from the Dental School building at 4:25 p.m.
Narcotics
Feb. 26 - Anthony Mancano, 34, of the 2200 block of Clarion Street, was arrested after he was allegedly found possessing a white substance determined to be cocaine at the University City Sheraton, located at 3549 Chestnut St.
Burglary
Mar. 2 - A female student, 22, reported that her laptop, value undetermined, was removed from her residence at 214 S. 42nd St.
Mar. 1 - A female student, 21, reported that various items, valued at above $200, were removed from her apartment at 212 S. 42nd St.
Feb. 28 - A female student, 19, reported that, upon returning to her unsecured room, her laptop and other personal items, valued at about $1,200, had been removed from the Franklin Community, located in the Stouffer College House Annex.
