Theft
Jan. 26 - Two students reported that items, value undetermined, had been stolen from Meyerson Hall.
Jan. 26 - Nicole Clark, 28 and Erma Williams, 26, both unaffiliated with the University, were arrested for theft after store employees at Urban Outfitters, located at 110 S. 36th St., reported the two women putting clothing - valued at about $170 - into a shopping bag without paying.
Jan. 26 - A female staff member reported that a hard drive valued at about $100 was stolen from her office in Steinberg-Dietrich Hall.
Jan. 25 - A female staff member reported that the driver's side window of her car had been broken and her GPS system removed when she left the vehicle at Garage 37 at the intersection of 34th and Chestnut streets.
Jan. 24 - A complainant not affiliated with the University reported that a man broke the driver's window of his car on the 3600 block of Sansom Street, and removed items worth about $400.
Jan. 24 - Two staff members reported that electronic devices - worth about $4,000 - had been removed from a shared office at 3901 Market St. There was no forced entry.
Jan. 23 - A female complainant unaffiliated with the University reported that her purse was taken from the back of her chair at the New Deck Tavern at 3408 Sansom St.
Jan. 23 - A female staff member stated that her bag, with contents valued at about $150, was stolen from outside a bathroom stall in the Evans Building of the Dental School at 4001 Spruce St.
Fraud
Jan. 27 - A female student reported that two credit cards were removed from her wallet, which was inside her coat pocket while the coat was over the back of her chair, at the 140 S. 36th St. Cosi. The cards were allegedly used to make $3,400 of fraudulent charges.
Jan. 23 - A female student said she lost her credit card on the 3000 block of Walnut Street, and that it was later used to make purchases of about $800.
DUI
Jan. 28 - Claude Hendricks, 26 and unaffiliated with the University, was observed weaving through traffic with a broken tail light on the 4000 block of Locust Street and arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Narcotics
Jan. 27 - Charles Evans, 42, unaffiliated with the University, was found with a leafy substance alleged to be marijuana during a traffic stop on the 4000 block of Ludlow Street.
Vandalism
Jan. 27 - A female University employee reported that, upon returning to her car on the 4200 block of Sansom Street, the vehicle's windshield was broken, antenna and windshield wipers were bent and two tires were punctured. Nothing was stolen.
