Wharton MBA students Himanshu Agarwal and Pranjal Shah are members of a team selected as a finalist for JPMorgan's Good Venture competition.
The Good Venture competition asks participating undergraduate and graduate teams of up to four members to choose an existing philanthropic non-profit organization to champion. The teams submitted their funding proposals to attempt to win $25,000 in funding for their organization.
The finalists include six graduate teams and four alternate teams, out of the 65 that submitted business cases. Forty one schools were represented.
Agarwal and Shah joined Annie Bertrand of the Harvard Business School in promoting the India Schoolhouse Fund, a nonprofit organization founded to provide education in rural India.
